Merry Freakin' Christmas

So Christmas was a real bummer this year. I hate NJ more then ever but it was good to be with my family when we got the difficult news. I am praying for the best.

The betrayal of rain in San Diego

Its raining like crazy here and the wind is blowing. I got back from Vail on Sunday. Had lots of fun and am quite sore after 6 days of straight skiing. I was hoping for sunshine since I need to bring back a sweet natural tan to NJ this weekend. I think things will clear up in the next day or so. I am such a baby in the rain now. I try not to leave my house. I need to do my xmas shopping but I am going to wait the rain out. If I stayed indoors every time the weather was poor in NJ I would be trapped inside for ever. So I just need to suck it up and deal with the 6 weeks of less then perfect weather we have. The irony is that today NJ is have an abnormally warm day today and the weather is better there then here.

Its My Birthday

Today I am 27. Holy crap that seems old! I look back 10 years and they were all a result of when I was seventeen. I met my husband, moved out of my parents house, start college, picked my career, started driving, left NJ all when I was 17. I can't really say if things turned out how I pictured them but I am happy with the end result.

As for how spent today. I went surfing in the morning in La Jolla. I caught of few nice waves. I am going to happy hour soon. Nothing crazy I might break a hip.

Camping over Thanksgiving Weekend

First Entry

I have been meaning to start a blog. I was going to wait until my camera got fixed but since I have so much time on my hands these days I figured why not start now. Anyone who has seen my garage knows why it is called the action sports garage. For those who haven't its b/c we have; 5 bicyles, 2 dirt bikes, 1 street motorcycle, 6 surfboards, a boogie board, crutches, camping gear, ski gear, snowboard gear, 3 skateboards, snorkle gear, rollerblades, a tandem ocean kayak, and a ton of truck parts for off roading.

So today was just another day in paradise for sure. I went rollerblading around Mission Bay. It was a beuatiful sunny day. I felt so lucky b/c I can't think of a better way to spend a Tuesday morning in Decemeber. I also went and bought new ski poles, gloves and a boot bag for my trip to Vail on Saturday. I have been checking the weather out there and it looks like we are going to score some nice conditions.

I haven't worked in 46 days, still have no planes to work anytime soon.
